Artist Tim Youd keeps typing up mostly male writers’ novels (he’s planning on doing 100) at various SoCal art spaces, choosing the spaces because they bear some relation to the writer in question’s life. Raymond Chandler lived in La Jolla, which is why Youd’s typing his detective novels at a San Diego museum.
