Sandy de Lissovoy & David Kelley
November 2 through 23, 2013
3006 W 7th St #220, Los Angeles, CA 90005
L.A.-based Sandy de Lissovoy and New York-based David Kelley’s exhibition is the second in a trio of collaborative shows at Commonwealth & Council, the artist-run Koreatown space. The two artists previously made the 20-minute video, Survival Based Camp, where sculptures they made of hinged-together wood and fabric became props for activities conducted against various landscapes. The photographs, video and loosely architectural sculptures in their current show grew out of that earlier project.
