Klea McKenna does rain studies and makes photograms and works on light-sensitive paper. Melanie Willhide is still paying tribe to the man who broke into her house, stole her computer and corrupted all her files. When police recovered the computer, her photographs had been distorted, but she liked them and exhibited them that way.

British artist Robert Montgomery works with text, pulling from the language of mass communication and billboards. He's showing limited edition prints of text initially meant to appear on billboards throughout the city.

Los Angeles artist F. Scott Hess is tracing his whole family heritage on his dad's side -- from 17th century England to Southern plantations to now. He's made artifacts, like puppets and painted pastry trays, to go with each generation, which he ascribes to fictional historical artists.
